Yuki in the Park

Better late than never that I post this up, I suppose. My first composition of multiple photos, I think—finally using those programs as intended? As expected, lighting is not so trivial.

Luckily, the source resolution is big enough to suppress my sloppy masking.

I am not satisfied with how I handled lighting. The front of her dome needs some light. I excuse it by imagining there are clouds blocking overhead light, but even cloudy overhead sky should lighten it some. To simulate it, I imagine having a secondary lamp or reflector in addition to the primary light (a window).

On the bright side, the graininess that this camera used gives, has maybe prompted me to look into probably getting a new used camera. I’ve been wanting one for a while now.

Hatsune Miku rebuild

I added to the sides of the twintails and reconstructed the left hand area for this classic drawing of Miku done by Amino, out of a whimsy, when a friend requested a wallpaper. It’s a bit sloppy and I fell short of a wallpaper don’t make wallpapers, but this scan can easily be composed into one. Enjoy :D
